Dubrovnik – Part 2

Dubrovnik also suffered during the break up of Yugoslavia, with bombianng of the historic old town. However, perhaps because of the size of the tourism industry (cruise ship passengers stop by for a few hours of touring and shopping daily), it’s less evident. There are some photo exhibits, but the scars (physical and emotional) don’t seem as visible to my outsider eyes (and ears).

The ancient history here is amazing and the position on the coastline is gorgeous. However, I have to admit that I prefer it best early in the morning and in the evening when it’s quieter (but still quite lively)!
